"Great place to buy meat, vegetables, fruits, and other snacks for great prices."
"The food, the quality, and by all means the service."
"Everything Mexican available here.. nice setup.. fast food authentic Tacos."
5 This place has a restaurant in it & the pork taco's are soooooooo goooooood omg! Stop in & have 1, 2, 3, 4 or more!
5 I love the bakery department. If you have a design in mind they will try their best to make it happen. And they are pretty fast too! Usually can do a cake that same day for you.
5 This restaurant is located in a former fast food building, so it's not really a sit down dining atmosphere. But the food is delicious, the inside is very clean, and the owners are very nice. Will definitely be going back again!
4 The store itself is dated. But if you enjoy things like tostilocos, tortas, esquites, agua frescas and topo chico, stop in and treat yourself.
4 —- Update —- Todavía es un lugar bueno para comprar tus cosas/comidas mexicanas. Parking lot NEEDS repair, a lot of pot holes and it’s been like this for a while. Definitely need to be mindful of other shoppers/customers. Some feel entitled to extra service because they know the owner or their kids/relative works there. I’ve even heard some of them disrespect the carniceros because they wanted to be served first or weren’t paying attention and others got serviced before them. So, that can be a potential problem for new comers that don’t know the way carnicerías work. First review——— El Tío is still our favorite store to shop at from pan, carne, vegetables, and eating at the restaurant inside. The restaurant inside has delicious food and many options to choose from.
5 Great market with lots of authentic selection of Mexican goods and friendly staff all around. Bakery is the star of the market with great baked goods authentic City of Mexico quality! Kitchen has good food and butcher section is well rounded... Best one stop shop in Atlanta! Totally forgot the overall cleanliness inside and outside the store.
4 This is a mexican supermarket, with a great butcher area. Best in Mableton & Austell, better quality meat than across the street (Talpa). Try on the grill the prepared (seasoned) diesmillo (thin steak). Also the season chicken slicked in half for quicker cooking less chance of undercooking.
5 This is real Mexican, fresh and plentiful with homemade tortillas and salsas.
Many visitors rave about the pork tacos, but their tostilocos, tortas, and esquites are also popular local favorites.
The restaurant offers a casual, quick bite atmosphere inside a former fast food building, making it great for both takeaway and a relaxed dine-in.
